An MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad (1980-82) with specialization in Marketing, Production and Systems and B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from REC, Trichy of Madras University (1973-78).
Has over 30 years of experience of which 13 years in systems & IT function and 17 years in general management functions (production planning, production, marketing and Profit centre responsibility).Has varied experience in Chemical (Polyester fibre, Fertilizer, Paints & Explosives), Ceramic, Confectionery, Auto and Auto ancillary, Heavy engineering, Gases industries and in IT and Consulting domains.
Have been taught, coached and mentored by Dr. Eli Goldratt. Have been using TOC concepts for the last about 9 years. Have been a project director with Goldratt Consulting for about 5 years implementing TOC projects. Have held senior positions in TVS Motor Company, Rane group, ICI, Murugappa group (in EID Parry, Tube Investments India Ltd and Laserwords) and BOC India Ltd.
